XDJ-Aero E-8306 Error

Hi All

XDJ-Aero - Firmware version 2.0

Rekordbox version - 2.0.1 (Purposely rolled back as per export issues noted in December)

The problem -

I have an XDJ-Aero and a Macbook Pro. I turn on the Aero, connect my Macbook to the Aero WiFi Network and then open Rekordbox. I click LINK in Rekordbox to link Rekordbox to the Aero. I can then use the Aero to scroll through my track collection not a problem. Once I try to log a track the visual representation on screen for the relevant side of the Aero flashes, the Aero itself flashes as if to acknowledge that there is something happening but the track will not load. I get an error E-8306. The file I am trying to load can be played in Rekordbox, it can be exported in Rekordbox etc etc. I just cannot get it to load into the Aero.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

Many thanks for your time and help.

Regards

Mark

Hi Gavin

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I don't have any anti virus or Firewall enabled on the Macbook Pro side and I have not adjusted any settings on the Aero side. Sorry t be vague but does that help

Hi Bren

Thanks for taking the time to reply. The problem is with one laptop. The exact same files in the exact same format load to the Aero over WiFi via Rekordbox not a problem, it's just this one laptop that will not allow files to load! I don't think it is the format as our other laptop loads MP3 just fine!

Thanks

Mark

Have you tried to Re-Analyze the files? and did that solve this issue? I would remove them from collection and reload them again in RekordBox

I also have this problem. The music I am trying to load has worked before on my Rekordbox, so I know it's not the music files. I have Rekordbox on my pc and my Iphone 5 running together and the Iphone is working just fine, no issues. I still had the error while my Iphone 5 was switched off and only my pc was connected. Any info would be great

I have still not found a solution. 2 other Macs, Android handset and iPhone all working 100% and can stream wirelessly via Rekordbox, it is just my machine, 13" MBP that will not work. As I said, Rekordbox sees the computer but will not accept media from it. I have removed the files, reimported and reanalyzed. The files work fine on another computer with rekordbox so it is not the files. I have uninstalled Rekodrbox, removed all preference, reference and other files, reinstalled and still no luck. Very frustrating.

I have no solution but I hope someone here will! Thanks.

I had this issue when my files where 48KHz, but after converting them to 44.1KHz, they all worked on the Aero.

Update to Rekordbox 2.2.1 first, this may help , seems like the program is crashing because your antivirus is scanning your tracks when you are trying to load them,

if you are using Norton Antivirus, go to Settings- items to exclude from scans,  configure, then add  Rekordbox in the file menu, also do the same with SONAR and Auto Protect as well.

Same issue. Has anyone figured this out? I can load tracks from my android device - same tracks analyzed on my Macbook Pro. But when I try to send the track to the xdj-aero directly from my OSX rekordbox, I get the E-8306 error. It flashes as thought it is loading and then the error pops up. The Aero is definitely connected to my computer because it shows up on the Aero as "ianmapesmacbook". Oh, and yes fully updated firmware on the XDJ-aero (3.0) and newest rekordbox 2.2.4. Really annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes the firewall is currently turned off and no virus software is installed (it's a mac so it has never really been necessary). I cannot figure this out. It works just fine from my mobile device so obviously the files are processed appropriately.

Once I had this error with files that were not encoded with 44.1 KHz.

Just installed the new 3.0 of rekordbox hoping this would resolve the issue. It did not. E-8306 comes up every time. Do I need to return this thing???

I'm experiencing a similar problem in that I can load songs via my Android phone but not from my Macbook Pro. For a start, I can't see the 'link' button in Rekordbox 3.0.1 (unless I'm looking in the wrong place) My Macbook sees the Aero's router but won't connect/link. Any ideas? (it doesn't help that the tutorial video for mac/win wifi is still 'coming soon')

While I'm here, can anyone tell me if I can have Rekordbox connected to my Aero and then have audience members connect to Rekordbox on my Macbook to scroll through songs and select them? Or is it only files on the individual mobile devices that can be loaded?

Thanks in advance.

Hallo, ik heb een probleem met de Aero XDJ , zeer regelmatig gaat hij in de Emergency Loop.
Wat zou het probleem kunnen zijn, met andere woorden hoe los ik het op?

Thnx. Rai

Hi Guys,

Make sure you connect to your laptop / Portable Device to your aero, and the blue wi-fi light (lights) are showing before you load your Usb Stick,

Loading the Usb stick , before connecting can cause wi-fi traffic problems  , and may result in the E-8306 error,

Hope this helps -Adrian

old topic, but I fixed this error with xdj aero and 3.0 firmware by removing wlan passwords

Just to be clear Toni....you are saying that you completely removed password protection from your wifi network? And this eliminates the E-8306 errors? It's the strangest thing because I can load up tracks with Rekordbox on a PC running windows, but not my macbook. I actually gave up trying months ago.
