[SOLVED] Finaly got my xdj-r1 but....got a couple of questions

The screen on the unit is not designed to show a little triangle on the current cue position, but if you want to see it, it appears on remotebox.

Auto Cue can be enabled only from the unit, but not from the Auto Cue option in My Settings of rekordbox. 

XDJ-R1 can remember the setting once you enable the Auto Cue, so it would not be so much bother.

Regarding the first issue about the noise, another engineer is now investigating it. 

1. If you turn off AUX or MIC, any change in the noise? -> We recommend AUX and MIC to be turned off when you do not use them. 

2. When selecting DECK or PHONE/LINE, any change in the noise? -> We recommend to select PHONE/LINE only when other device is connected. 

3. Do you use any conversion cables like XLR, RCA or TRS? -> We recommend not to use any conversion connector/cable.

Although he said “all the faders and volumes are down”, 

1. Any change is observed when turning the knobs of MASTER LEVEL Vol or BOOTH OUT Vol? 

2. Any change is observed when a CD is inserted or not?

3. Did  you choose MASTER OUT 1, MASTER OUT 2 or BOOTH OUT? 

4. Did  you connect XDJ-R1 and the speaker to other devices such as PC or other DJ devices? 

5. Do you have other device such as mixer, amp or effector in between XDJ-R1 and the speaker? 

6. What is the model number of KRK speaker?

.in rekordbox i made some cuepoints but they do not appear on the progressbar with a little triangle like on the cdj-900, is this feature not supported??? For me this is a crucial feature for remembering where to start the new track....

as far as I know when I tested this unit the "10 memory points" on the right side of RB is not supported on the R1, Only the ABC hot starts are

It's kinda odd....i mean Pioneer claimed the R1 would be the first FULL rekordbox compatible unit made.... but now when it's on the market it is still limited due to it's screen limitation.

I borrowed a ipad for remotebox and i must say it works very well indeed, still wondering if in time this app meets android....in the meantime i'll do without.....it's not worth to buy one just for the R1.

@Gavin About the noise problem......all the above i tried, so far no luck...my KRK model is RP8 and straight connected thrue a 80cm RCA cable without any conversions. With my previous DJM-600 CDJ setup no problems at all.

One thing i need to try, all my equipment is connected to one outlet without ground......maybe this creates the noise
