BPM on my CDJ-800MK2 is not correct w/Traktor

When I'm playing a track at 128 on the CDJ, it will actually show its playing at 162 BPM.  I'm using Traktor version 2.1.2 that comes with the new timecode MK2 CDs.  Before when using Traktor, a BPM never showed up on the CDJ.  Now its just way off.  Does anyone know why?

It would most likely be because the CDJ-800 is reading the tempo of the timecode sound. I'm assuming the frequency is read as 162 BPM by the CDJ-800 and that's why it is off. Unfortunately it is not actually reading the tempo of the track playing, as it does not come from or run through the CDJ so it would have no idea what the BPM of the track is coming from your computer.

There is no "beat" in a timecode CD, so no, it won't show a BPM on the display of the CDJ.

So there's no way to match traktor's bpm with the CDJs bpm? I'm having this problem on my 850s too. It kind of makes every function of the CDJ pointless... loops are off, and the cue drifts as well....

@Kyle > If you are using Timecode CD's and Traktor, the CDJ's will not display the BPM (or correct BPM in the case above).

If you use the CDJ's in HID mode, the BPM, track info, and waveform will all display on the CDJ.
