[SOLVED] Using CDJ 400s with Traktor and (possibly) Denon Controller

Hello:

Until recently, I have been using my CDJ 400s on the  live input setting for decks C and D in Traktor.  For Decks A and B, I have them set to be controlled via internal mix in Traktor.  I have had the 400s going into the line inputs on channels 1 and 4 of my 4 channel mixer/controller (Denon MC 6000).

By doing this, I was able to use the CDJs  and Traktor's internal mixing capabilities with my Denon MC 6000 controller.

However, What I would like to be able to do is use the CDJ 400s to control Traktor,, and, if possible, use my Denon's ability to be a standalone analog mixer.

I know that there is HID support for the 400s, but I don't know if it is possible to make both of them recognize.    The idea would be to have the ability for both of them to control decks, and (hopefully) be able to cycle through the cue points that I have set for my tracks in the software.

My 400s have basically been gathering dust of late, because of the difficulties of folder navigation via USB stick and cue point setting.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the following equipment available to do this:

Windows 7 64 bit

Denon MC 6000

Traktor 2.5.1

Audio 4DJ sound card

CDJ 400s (x2)

You can certainly connect both players via HID; simply have them in PC mode and run the Traktor setup wizard.

Thank you, Pulse.

I am assuming I would have to MIDI map some of the functions on the 400s to understand how to cycle through cue points.

If I have any questions, I'll be sure and post them.
