Rule #1 for sound levels: don't use auto-gain.
Rule #2 for sound levels: manually adjust each track so they peak around the same place. Don't assume that every track has the same levels.
Hello when I was recording mix I realised that gain was changing while playing songs on ddj ergo v on virtual dj so i always double clicked so they are 50%.Later I realised that the volume or better said gain isnt same.Has it got some auto gain? And Im also wondering for DJM 900 Nexus can i Set up auto gain function without using any software only djm 900 Nexus and cdjs ?Thanks alot for help!

thank you very much and I was just wondering can i play from song say its 128 bpm to some song at 60 bpm so that it plays in sync on the cdj 2000 nexus i mean i want to mix some fast tune so it slows down to that speed for other song
@Damjam > You should prepare your music in rekordbox to ensure the grids are correctly aligned. Is the audio track actually 60BPM or is it 120BPM but the detection picked it up incorrectly? If so, depending on which track you set as the master, you could significantly speed up or slow down playback by using sync.
