What version of LE are you using? if you go to virtualdj.com and enter your serial number you can download the latest version for free.

but your ddj-wego skin is available only with the installation of software supplied with wego. Even VDJ Pro does not have the skin? why pioneer does not give the latest software and how come the unit does not work with the bundled VDJ LE?

the wego skin is available on the vdj website for all registers users. as for the latest software, virtual dj has regular updates and the wego had the latest version on release which has been superseded now I believe. vdj le that comes with the wego does work if not no one would buy it. have you tried to download a new version from virtualdj.com yet?

If you are still having problems getting the software to run, please try a FULL uninstall of the software from your computer:

  • Make a backup copy of the folder /users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ or /users/YOURNAME/Library/VirtualDJ for new installations of VirtualDJ v7.0.3 or above - In particular, you may wish to keep your VirtualDJ database which contains your cue points, BPM, comments, etc.

NOTE: If you cannot find or access the Library folder, please see:  Reveal hidden Library folder

  • Delete all VirtualDJ icons from Applications.

  • Delete the /Users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ folder, if it exists.

  • Delete the /Users/YOURNAME/Library/VirtualDJ folder, if it exists.

  • Delete the following file: MacintoshHD -> /Users/YOURNAME/Library/Preferences/com.atomixproductions.virtualdj.plist

  • Delete any VirtualDJ desktop or dock shortcuts.

  • Restart your computer.

  • Make sure that you are logged in as the user who you will be running VirtualDJ as.

  • Download the  latest version of VirtualDJ or the latest  VirtualDJ Home FREE.

  • Install the software using the above file that you downloaded.

  • If applicable, copy your VirtualDJ database file (VirtualDJ Database v6.xml) back to /Users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ or*/users/YOURNAME/Library/VirtualDJ* for new installations of VirtualDJ v7.0.3 or above.
