[SOLVED] virtual dj support display XDJ-R1?

Is supporting Virtual dj display on XDJ-R1?

But XDJ-Aero can show title and artist. Why XDJ-R1 can't show it or time, bpm?

It will be fixed in the future with firmware?

Thank you.

It's incredible that this all new hardware from Pioneer (the xdj-r1) doesn't support VirtualDJ display !!

Pratically all the controllers since ten years can do it!!

I hope a new firmware will solve it very soon, or Pioneer has to produce a new product (xdj-r2?) that can do it.

I pray.

This will likely be available in a future update, I have asked engineers for clarification.

The engineers have replied:

XDJ-Aero and XDJ-R1 have different methods to communicate with a computer.  XDJ-R1 uses MIDI as its communication method. Since this method does not send and receive track information, some of such track information would not be displayed as the user mentioned. The positive aspect of MIDI is that, however, many DJ applications support MIDI so that XDJ-R1 can control many different DJ applications. The firmware will not be updated for the purpose of responding to this issue. However, it may be updated for other purposes such as fixing serious issues in future.
