@Nino > There's your problem - you're transferring songs! Instead of doing that, simply use an external drive. The drive will have a Serato library file created on it (the same as the source of the music), so when you move your drive from computer to computer, the hotcues, etc, go along with it.

Follow[CLOSED] DDJ S1 & using different laptops (Need Help)!
Question about DDj S1. I use 2 different laptops (both Macbook pro). One for home and one for the road. ITCH is Installed on both laptops.
Q- Every time i transfer songs from one Mac to the other i lose my "hot cues"! To simplify, every time i set hot cues in a song using my 1st laptop, I have to set them again when i use the second laptop...
There must be a way to fix this issue since one of the tracks have 4 "hot cues" set to it and i'm able to move it between 2 laptops without loosing the hot cues!! Wierd, all the rest of the tracks lose their "hot cues" after being transferred / moved! WHY?? ... AND HOW CAN I PRESERVE THE HOT CUE POSITIONS?

@Pulse> Thanks! Appreciate it.
*-ANOTHER QUESTION: *(since I don't like using my ext-Hdd), Is there a way to do it by copying the "Serato library files" you mentioned from one MAc to the other?
If this way works, WHICH LIBRARY FILES SHOULD I COPY OVER?
@Nino > Yes; you could simply copy the SERATO folder, located on the drive. I'm not sure where that would be on your internal as I've only ever used an external as my source.
Did anybody face a problem with connection S1 with Apple i7 computers? Serato on these devices can't see Pioneer controller..
i have same MAC laptop, everything is running ok.... I only installed the serato itch from cd, then updated it.... then connected the S1 controller.. everything running smoooth....
BUT I HAVE THIS PROBLEM ON WINDOWS!!! S1 can not be recognized on windows Xp home edition.
@Alexander > I've got an i7 and it seems to work just fine, did you have the device connected during installation?
@Nino > Same thing as Alexander, did you have the S1 connected during the Itch installation? If not, it wouldn't detect it and install the control drivers / ASIO drivers.
jó napot DDj-S1 fut a virtual dj -vel is?
@Lajos > Are you asking if the DDJ-S1 is supported by Virtual DJ? If so, then yes, you load their mapping under the controllers.
Pulse what do you mean by mapping I have a S1 and virtual DJ and no clue how to get it to work with the S1 ? please give specific intructions on how to thank you
@Pierre > Please start your own topic.
When you order the ddj-s1 u got to get your own laptop of it will come wit the laptop?
@Rayen > No laptop is included with the controller, you must purchase a computer separately.
Hi, i have ddj S1 from some days and, i downloand and instal last version of serato itch. I have a problem: in other 30% of song analize the BPM and in conseguance in grid not have corrispondance with the real bpm! (and i not use difficult song... in normal range from 115bpm to 140...) i repet more times the analize and i have everytime this problem. naturly This problem is serious in long mix tracks, and of course, impossible to use the sync mode.
I come from torq1.5 and Xponent m-audio, and only in rare raresituations have this problem...
is a software problem or something wrong in the procedure or software settings?
@matthew > Next time please start your own thread as the problem you're having is completely unrelated to this topic.
As for the problem with analysis, simply unplug the S1 and try running the analyze files option, but not all files will get a beatgrid automatically.
There is a noise when i played my music. I checKed all the setup options. Pelase help me
Im Sorry, i have DDJ-s1
@Alejandro > What is the noise? What kind of laptop are you using (and what operating system version)? What version of the software are you using? Do you have the external power connected to the DDJ-S1 or just via USB? Does the noise persist if you disconnect your laptop power supply?
