could have to do with the way it is mapped, Have you posted on Seratos forum also, It "may" be something they need to fix with the mapping file
Hote cue slips not working with Pioneer DDJ SZ, how to fix?
Hey I figured I should ask since I own both an Sx2 and an SZ now...
My hot cues don't work in slip mode with my SZ. In other words, it jumps back to the cue point even when in slip mode. This is very disappointing and I don't have this issue with my Sx2, which also has dual mode (a feature that Pioneer decided not to include in the SZ for some reason?).
Is there a way to get my cue slips to work properly? It is frustrating to pay $2k for a controller and have it malfunction to this degree.

I would say it is mapping, but the SZ is default to the Serato... unless they release a firmware or Serato update, I don't see this getting fixed soon.
