I have a new Pioneer DDJ-SR, which worked fine on my HP computer Windows 8.1 x64 and Serato DJ software (v 1.7.6). DDJ-SR firmware version is 1.07.
The problem is that the unit does not output any PC audio through the main outputs, nor can I listen to any of the PC channels using the CUE feature.
The LEDs indicating the master output level are working great as well as all the buttons on the unit. All hot cue buttons illuminate with my defined cue points and seem to function correctly when observing the track position indicator in the Serato software. If I disconnect the DDJ-SR while a track is playing, Windows realizes that the unit was disconnected and plays audio through the built-in laptop speakers. Basically, the Serato software functions are working correctly with the DDJ-SR (even the virtual “master output” level in the software shows a change in levels when I manipulate the controller) yet no audio is heard through headphones using CUE nor through the main audio outs.
After trying to solve on my HP computer I installed all the components in a Dell notebook, wich has provided my the same result, no sound at all.
What could possibly have happen? A hardware problem? Mismatch configuration? Please hellp me, just don't know what to do anymore...
