today was my 6th or 7th gig now with the RX and this has never happened before but it totally frose on me!
I was using Link (had no USB's plugged in just the cat5)
Right deck was playing a track and I loaded another track from record box(drag and drop) to the Left deck and the platter stated flashing and the screen said loading but it never was able to load it..... I tried to load a different song and the same thing happened but this time Rekordbox froze, cursor turned into the spinning beach ball and record box was unresponsive... the song that was already playing on the right deck kept on playing(thank god!) so I played a backup song from my iPod which was plugged into the RX and the I forced closed Rekordbox, relaunched it, connect to link again but no luck - the RX was still frozen... I ended up disconnecting one of my speakers, and plugged my phone into it directly and played a song, then I powered off the RX, turned it back on and I was good to go again!
this really pissed me off I gotta say, the thing I loved the most about the RX was that It is stand alone and does not need to rely on a computer like Serato & Controller.... however it doesn't help if much if this stand alone unit freezes!!
