Windows 8.1 issue with cdj-900 network link.

0) Have you read the "READ ME FIRST" thread in its entirety AND TRIED THE SOLUTIONS THERE before posting: No, it's too long and don't really need help OR Yes, I swear it!
Yes. many times over yes. I've even deleted all rules in the firewall (even after disabling it) and re-added them through the prompts when loading rekordbox
1) Operating System: Windows 8.1
2) OS Type: 64bit
3) rekordbox version: 3.2.2
4) Using LINK: Yes
4b) LINK Connection method: CDJ-900 x2 simple switch, no router, tried direct connect and same result (says connected on CDJ, link shows in rekordbox but no players show)
4c) Using with CDJs: Yes, 4.32
5) Source Rekordbox, music is on secondary partition NTFS (win 8.1 doesn't allow fat32)
5b) Connection type: network 10/100 ethernet connection to port.
5c) Does the device have multiple partitions: Yes
7) Have you scanned your files for errors: Yes
7b) Have you scanned your drive for errors: Yes
8) Is rekordbox crashing at all: No
8b) If not crashing, are there any error messages: No
9) Are you able to repeat / reproduce the problem: Yes
9a) If yes, can you do it consistently: Yes
10) Does the problem occur with one specific song: No
11) Any other notes regarding your setup only: Connected windows 7 laptop and everything works flawlessly (same rekordbox version) add my windows 8.1 laptop (Link even shows #2, but not on the CDJ)
12) Provide as much detail of the issue here:

Windows 7 laptop running same version of Rekordbox. SHows collection 1 and connects, plays music just fine. Windows 8.1 laptop shows connection, shows link as collection #2 but shows no players. Players show link (even with win7 laptop removed) connected but no collection. I can't hit back on them to see the rekordbox collection.

What else can I do to get help? Is this forum completely useless or did I not submit my question properly?

Yes. I scoured these forums and tried everything. Including changing one thing at a time and then rebooting my laptop.

i think it might be the same issue i have with windows 10 in that it is remembering a setting. as a test you could create a new user account with admin rights. log on as new user which will have a fresh profile and test?
