RMX1000 w/ DB4

Hello there,

is it possible to connect the RMX between the DB4 and loudspeakers? So Mixer out to RMX and RMX out to monitors? If yes is there a loss in quality that can be heard or just a theoretical change:-)?

Thanks;

Mika

OLAH Mika.
I have not tried it myself with this particular mixer but the connection would be: from Xone DB4 output master to RMX-1000 input and from RMX output to another mixer, an amplifier or active speakers (powered assets or auto amplified)

Hey Pedro,

thanks for this... I tried that last week, but it added quite a lot of hum/noise + the input output leds on the MRX barely moved so it did not even detect the BPM unless I played really loud.

It did not go well so to speak:-). So far I do not use it.

there's a workaround.... go into the settings of the DB4>record setup>source then change it to "headphone"

then plug the record out of the DB4 into the input of the RMX1000.  Then send the output of the RMX1000 into the aux in...

turn the aux channel on & when you press a headphone channel button it'll also send that signal to the RMX1000, requires a lil practice, but it works
