Master Player changes during Performance

Hi there. Here another little question I can't find the answer myself.
So you are playing with two XDJ 1000. On the left is the current Master player and on the right let's call it the Slave one.
On the Master a track is "On the Air" and on the Slave one there's your next bomb.
OK. So the Slave is coming in smoothly. Everything is fine. The two tracks are perfect together and in sync. At one point you decide to push the A hot cue on the Master to jump in the track.
Now, WHY the Master changes and the actual Slave become the Master?
Is there any good reason for this? The Master should stay the Master until the Play/Pause button is pressed. No matter if I want to play with Hot Cue/Cue/Loops.
Maybe there's a setting somewhere that can change this behaviour...
This is driving me crazy.....
