Recording via USB out, not USB2?

Just to expand on someone else's RECORDING TO USB
question:
1) Are you able to record via USB cable out, to Audacity on this RX, in the same way you could with the R1? I can't spot the device as a recording device in Win10, only as a Playback Device(LINE, PIONEER-XDJ-RX). This is after installing the driver off the website, and refreshing Device Manager as well.

Is this because I'm using the LAN connection from RekordBox at the same time?

2) The layout of the USB2 record wording, on the chassis itself seems to suggest that it's master record, not pre? I will go and test this theory out with the USB2...
