I was about to buy the SX2 when I found that the RX was about to release.
The new functions of the RX makes me decide to choose this one instead of the SX2.
So I have downloaded the free 30-days trial of Rekordbox DJ. I was a little sceptic (I'm a Traktor user for many years) but after testing the software, I think it's a future very good one (DVS, MIDI mapping for the further updates, and maybe some other options : hide the enlarged waveforms, increase the waveforms window of each deck, etc.).
One problem I have is with the performances of the computer, and Rekordbox is slow. I juste did a test with just a play with two same tracks on Traktor and on Rekordbox DJ :
I have a Asus S200E (4Gb RAM, i3) and I'm a little afraid about the slowness of this new software (and I'm not alone, I read a lot of topics about the slowness of Rekordbox DJ). On the other side, I want to enjoy all the features of the RX, which is not possible on Traktor.
My questions are :
1) Does Rekordbox DJ get faster if I use the audio driver from the RX device, or will the code be optimized for better performances in a further update of the software ?
2) Does an official .tsi MIDI mapping file will be available for Traktor like it is for SX, SX2 and XDJ-RX ?

Hey @creal, I can't speak to changes in the processing when using the RX (I wouldn't expect it to be any different from other audio interfaces), but I'm sure the usage will decrease as the rekordbox team finds ways of optimizing the processes in future.
As for the TSI file for the DDJ-RX, I doubt Pioneer will ever release an official mapping as this product is specifically targeted at being used with rekordbox.
