Some tracks won`t play on XDJ RX from Reckord box via Ethernet link

Hi,

I have just hooked up my pc through the Ethernet link and down loaded the  software and some of my tracks won`t play, the seem to load on to the xdj and the tab bar at the bottom of Reckord box go from orange to green when I click the play/pause button on the player (no cue lights up) but they don`t play.

Its only certain tracks I've tried reanalysing and they play fine on Reckord box its self just not on the XDJ.

I have also down loaded the software twice and uninstalled and reinstalled just in case it was that and it still does it.

any ideas anyone??

Will look into this, but just to check, can you verify the files type that won't play?

Hi,

As far as I'm aware the all  files are all wav files Dropped on to rekordbox.

Another anomaly happened as well when I disconnected the XDJ and looked at the tagged tracks it said that there location had changed, which I found strange as it had just played them.

Thanks

@Stephen > What is the location of those files? Are they managed by iTunes at all?

I have had similar issues when trying to connect.

all tracks play on recordbox and when put on a usb stick play through the RX fine. but will not load when used with the laptop and recordbox via ethernet

is there maybe a driver for the laptop im missing that doesnt come standard with recorbox. I also use an external hard drive for music storage. dont know if that may have something to do with it.
like stephen most of my files are WAV or MP3

this isnt a problem when im playing a planned setlist however I often play mobile gigs where i need better access to files than through the units USB so this is a bit of a setback as stands

Any help would be much appreciated
