@Guille Do you have any updates on this? I own a S9 and I'm about to get RP8000s, would be a shame if they didn't work together. I thought this would be the case because the S9 had tons of issues with the SP1 wich I ended up selling for this same reason, you can use a sampler mode in the controler but not in the mixer so everything gets bugged. I still really want the RPs, I might end up passing the S9 forward to get them if there are any problems. If you can let me know!!
Serato indicates on their site that the S9 is fully compatible on El Capitan with 1.8.1 and the latest drivers for the hardware. Given that @Guille hasn't written back, we'll assume it's all working and he's too busy DJing. ;)
Hope so @Pulse. I'll probably try to test the S9 with the RPs before buying just to check, and thought hard about it and I definatelly want to keep the mixer, so if they don't work together I'll just get a 7000 instead. Thx a lot for the reply! =)
@Romario > It wouldn't be an incompatibility with the turntables themselves, but what I have seen in past is the cartridge used can make a difference.
