Pioneer HDJ-1500 "Professional" Junk.

So I have to say, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the HDJ-1500 set I have.

I've literally used them 5 times and they're already broken. No drops, never crushed, no nicks or scratches. Off the shelf, out of the bag, plug in, then back in the bag, back on the shelf.

Today I decide to pull them out and listen to them and I notice that the left side connector to the band was strangely loose, removing the cover revealed that all of the inner plastic bits were broken and falling apart. (detailed pictures available).

Again, no damage whatsoever to this thing, just broken, I didn't even get a chance to put them on.

So what's the deal? I have yet another pair of basically brand new pioneer "Professional" headphones which have fallen apart, and of course, the most critical mechanical connector is extremely weak, purposefully ? designed? cheap?

The speakers, as always sound great, but come on, why must pioneer always release "professional" headphones with such obvious flaws and what do I need to do to get this remedied?

I can't be the only person that's had this same failure given the generally poor design quality of this part.

@Colin > If you've never dropped or abused them, it's entirely possible this is due to a defect in the part from manufacturing them. Please contact Pioneer technical support and explain your issue, they will arrange repair or replacement of the headphones for you.

Sorry to hear about this, I haven't found the 1500s to be of poor quality in their build.  If they are under warranty I would return them for another pair/repair.  If not try contacting Tech Support and see what they recommend you do.

Again sorry for this incident.
