having the same problem, the cdjs get to the 'connected' message but not the 'select deck?' mode! Ive tried uninstalling all drivers, re-installing, various orders of connecting the usbs, different usbs ports, you name it!
So after mucho messing about the CDJ850 s connected to the software via HID. I use a XOne DB2 and have to select that driver to get sound out, but its glitchy and crackly like hell and pretty much unusable. I would guess that the buffering needs to be increased but it doesn't let me do so in the software.
Obviously the trial period is quickly running out and its a shame I dont think it will start playing nicely in that period, so back to Mixvibes Cross it will be for me (which works flawlessly BTW).
@Jamie > Where are you not able to change the buffer size? rekordbox has the ability to edit that within the preferences. What OS are you running?
The buffer slider to increase is greyed out when using the Xone driver (which is the only one that I get sound out from). Im on Win10.
Is there no utility from A&H to adjust the driver buffer settings?
frustratingly no. If i select dcj850 asio or asio4all the buffer slider works but no sound.
Can't help you with the buffer for the Xone, and that's likely the problem, sorry.
