RB 4.0

I find Rekordbox DJ to be full of potential, it was a little glitchy at first but it got better as time goes by, but it needs a lot of work such as ..

The software reacts with a slight delay to commands of the controller (DDJ-SZ) especially with the performance pads.

Why separate quantize buttons ..Serato has one and it quantize both decks and all cue points (not just loops)

The decks should display also the Original BPM .. not just the BPM adjust to Sync.

Pressing the Sync button on the controller should engage or re-engage sync ...not turn off sync ... should be <Shift sync> to disengage sync.

I tried to adjust the speed of the waive form from the keyboard but it only affects 1 deck ... why is that.

My music collection has serato tags which includes pre-populated cue points (Via Mixed in Key) ... how can I have those cue point showing up in Rekordbox.

I took me 3 days to analyze 50,000 tracks ... why is that ... I thought this software was suppose to be fast.

Why is "Export Playlist" grayed out and not active

How can I stop tracks from start playing upon loading.

@Desmond > A few answers for you...

1) Try lowering the buffer (latency) size for tighter response to controller input.

2) The quantize mode affects things like hot cues and loops - DJs asked for individual controls, Pioneer delivered.

3) Can I ask why it matters what the original BPM was?

4) Not all hardware has a SHIFT button, so this behaviour is standardized across all controllers / players.

5) This is a known bug and will be addressed in a future update.

6) You must use a 3rd party software like rekordbuddy to import cue points from other software applications.

7) You probably didn't have the performance analysis mode enabled.

8) Some users are having troubles exporting, others are simply trying to export from performance mode. Try switching first.

9) In the preferences, enable the load lock under Controller > Deck.

(3) I guess it does not really matter ...but I am used to having it on other software

This brings up another issue ... in other software, as soon as I disable sync the BPM would return to its original ... in RB 4.0 I have to place with the tempo slider to get back the original BPM ...why is that?

If the two tracks are sync'd, it could be due to the position of the hardware fader as well, waiting for a soft-pickup.
