Official comment
This bug is addressed in the 4.0.1 update and the crossfader is not intended for mixing purposes, more of a "preview" tool.

Mixing deck A to B in Export modus
When trying to mix 2 tracks in Rekordbox in the Export Performance mode...it is not possible anymore. Moving the slide bar form Deck A to B will not volume down Deck A when moving to Deck B. You keep hearing both tracks all the time.

i have the same problem. i usually have to fix it by going into performance mode then switching back to export mode and it fixes the problem...annoying, but I'm sure it will be fixed in oncoming updates...although now with the 4.0.1 update I've recognized an update with the cross fade between A and B. when the crossfader is fully on A or B the volume is loud but when moving the crossfader towards the middle the volume get really quiet now....
