Sound Problems - Rekordbox DJ - CDJ 850

You need to use ASIO4ALL to create an aggregate output so both of your CDJs are chosen as the audio device, otherwise the software only "sees" one CDJ's sound card.

Is there any tutorial how to set up Asio4All for the CDJs?

I have the Driver software for CDJ/XDJ on my PC where I can set up the CDJs. Isn't that enough? Do I need Asio4All?
Where should I set up the preferences in the Driver Software oder in Asio4All?

In this case, please interchange Output Deck 1 and Deck 2.
The number displayed on output channels have no relation with the deck you choose on CDJs.

You can see what I mean if you select deck 3 and 4 on your CDJs and open rekordbox audio preference then the CDJs are recognized as not 3 and 4, but 1 and 2.

The reason why the deck numbers on CDJs and rekordbox are different is due to technical issue. Sorry for inconvenience.

As for output level, we are working and will be addressed in a future update.

I will prove the 4.0.2 Update on the weekend.
But there is one question left. When i change the output channels the sound is on the right channel, but i didn't installed asio4all. Is it recommended to install asio4all for stability?

My take is no, you don't need to install, but I am not familiar with asio4all.
Perhaps Pulse has another perspective.

Sorry, I was making a screen-cast on how to configure the ASIO4ALL with rekordbox today and the hard drive in the W10 machine I'm using tanked it (YAY WINDOZE!) and I'm out of town for a few days, so you'll have to tinker around or wait until I can get my machine up and running when I'm back.

yesterday I tried the rekordbox 4.02 with the CDJ 850s again.
Output Level is perfectly fine.
But just got another problem.
Sometimes when for example Deck 1 is playing and i load a track into Deck 2.
Deck 1 stops playing. When i press stop and play again on Deck 1 it starts again from the point where it has stoped.
There was no regularity how this happens.
On my 5 hours set it happened about 10 times.
Fortunately it was only background music i played.

Another problem i had is, that when i searched for a song and forgot to put the cursor into the search area, i pressed accidentally key S for Slip Reverse.
How can i deactivate keys for perfomance mode?

Addionional i want to add that there is one big thing missing in rekordbox 4.02. The should be something like an tick at the tracks that have already been played.

You can disable the keyboard shortcuts through the preferences - I recommend adding a modifier such as shift or control to them so you don't accidentally engage any feature while using the keyboard or trying to search.

As for the playback issue, how are you loading that track? Are you selecting / loading it via the CDJ, keyboard shortcut or drag-and-drop?

I'm selecting the Track on the CDJ 850s using the scroll knob an pressing it down for loading it into the deck.

I had the exact same problem with my PC. It seemed like a buffer problem or something to do with loading of the song?
My gear, CDJ-850 DJM-900nxs PC:i7-4790k win7 8G RAM.
I also had some digital scratching sound (like a modem starting up) and the song just wouldn't play.
I hope to find a cure.

So we can exclude that's a PC Problem.

Yesterday, I played with the 850s, and rekordbox dj ver. 4.0.3 again.
I was much better. Wanna thank you for the good work you did with rekordbox dj.
That programm makes my dj life much easier :)
Just got one problem. I had the CDJ in Scratch Mode and i put my headphone on the jogwheel on the CDJ that wasn't playing. Then i have choosen a track with the scroll knob and the sound of player 1 that was playing was away. (Pause and Play and it worked again.)
