Auto Stop at End of Track?

I am using Rekordbox DJ with the DDJ-RZ and I am wondering if there is any possible way to have the decks auto pause/stop when a track has fully played out?

The reason for this is that when I go to load in a new track, it automatically starts playing unless I manually hit the play/pause button before I load the new track. This is annoying for obvious reasons! :)

Auto play is probably on, you can turn it of in Rekordbox DJ settings under Controller

I have Auto Play turned off.

Also, the Auto Play setting is only for Deck 1, in circumstances where you want to play a bunch of songs in a playlist automatically back-to-back like you would in iTunes.

I guess theres no "Auto Cue" yet for controller and Rekordbox DJ like the 2000's and such have, Hopefully pioneer will add it soon

+1 ... not a fan of the track playing automatically. You have to hit play/pause button or cue button on existing track to keep the track you're loading from playing automatically. A fix would be awesome.

in RBDJ? I just through a track on the left deck, played it and at the end it stopped so not sure what you mean. Maybe you have "continuous" play on or some setting is not right

no continuous play is not ticked. have tried enabling/disabling this and autocue, most of the settings... (but bear in mind I have just had one evening playing with this)

When a track plays on either deck (I have a ddj 400 controller, not that it should make a difference in rekordbox) the track ends, then I would expect, and want, it to just stop. but it doesnt, it just starts over, andwill keep repeating until i hit the pause button ....

@Mike > Make sure AUTO CUE is enabled and SINGLE PLAY mode is selected in the preferences. If you find the track looping, you may have an emergency loop set at the end of your track.

Also DDJ-400 here, nothing helps ... auto cue enabled for deck 1 and 2, continous playing deactivated, there is for sure nothing like a emergency loop set up, tried everything, this is very annoying, who needs a function where every track is repeated again and again and it cannot be deactivated?

I’m also facing this issue off and on my DDJ 400,

auto cue is enabled, continues play is off.

but this keep happening for the third time.

i have to shut down Rekordbox, restart my Mac

and only then it stops playing at the end of the track,

this is ridiculous..!

Pioneer kindly advise for a solution, thank you.

Both enabling AutoCue and disabling continuous play did fix this for me. I did restart Rekordbox after changing the setting for it to stick.

I had tried the continuous play option and it didn't work but once I set enabled AUTO CUE on both of my decks it worked after restarting Rekordbox. It didn't work instantly, only after restarting the application. I'm running Rekordbox 6.0.2 with a DDJ-400

I did the same with RB 6.0.2 with DDJ 400, it worked just for that session.
The next time i opened RB again the same thing happened,
I give up as Pioneer doesn't seems interested in assisting their customers
with issues for their software.
Im also a DDJ XZ owner.

@Rush > We certainly are - if you can please tell me what settings you have enabled for AUTO CUE on the deck and whether CONTINUOUS PLAY is checked?

Also, do you have the DDJ connected prior to launching rekordbox?

I just purchased a DDJ-400 and I'm having the same issue. Using Rekordbox 6, a track will automatically repeat from the beginning after it has played all the way through. Following the directions in this thread, I have enabled Auto Cue for Decks 1 & 2 and deselected 'continuous playing,' and the problem persists. Help would be much appreciated.

I can't seem to figure out how you're getting this to occur; when I have AUTO CUE enabled and the continuous playback is disabled, I can't get the CDJ-400 to automatically start the next song, no matter which version of rekordbox, no matter the platform.

Can you please post a video showing your settings and then this happening? Thanks!

@Pulse > Here's a video of the issue. Let me know if you need any other info.

FYI, the problem was temporarily fixed for me, but reverted back to doing the auto-play thing without me changing any settings.

Appreciate any help you can offer.

@Mike Large pointed out something helpful... this problem only occurs when the controller is plugged in. Tracks do not auto-play from the beginning if the controller isn't plugged in. Clearly it is a hardware-related issue.

@Pulse any resolution on this issue. I have the same problem and have troubleshooted as per above guidelines.... I can verify that the track does NOT auto reply from rekordbox but once the controller is plugged in, despite all the settings being as per your guidelines, the track DOES autoreply.... Any fix on this yet? Thanks :)

Did anyone manage to resolve this problem, tried all of the above but nothing works?

Ive managed to get it to stop doing this by switching from Hot Cue mode to Keyboard mode and then switched back. I did this by pressing Shift + Hotcue on the controller. In preferences I have autocue disabled on all 4 decks. Ive unplugged the controller and plugged back in and restarted rekordbox and it seems to have held the setting. Will see over time if continues to work

I enabled AUTO CUE, closed the program a few times, restarted the computer, unplugged the cable and it didn't work.
It only worked when I exited the program (FILE > EXIT).
