I had this as well.
In RekordBox you can assign different kind of fx to the filter knob.
You have to enable the filter button in the software!

Q: Is it a software issue that the filter knob do not work with rekordbox DJ software and the DDJ-SX2 controller.
It is plain and simple I have the DDJ-SX2 controller and use it for Serato DJ but now that it also can work with Rekordbox which I actually like, I have noticed that the filter knob has no used or I do not seem to hear any audio variation when I turn the knob to either direction.

WOW, Thanks for the info. Would you happen to know if the BPM can be adjusted during performance mode.

@Landy > You can use the pitch fader to speed up / slow down the track for a resulting change in BPM.
