So is it slow on the new PC or on yours, sorry I'm a little confused by the question and want to properly answer.
I use Rekordbox to organise my whole music collection and export it to USB for use on Pioneer Rekordbox CD Players as a DJ.
Sometimes people ask me if I can provide some good music for them at a private party for the background. I can't give my USB stick alone, because then I don't have my playlist mapping from Rekordbox. So I install Rekordbox on their PC and load in my USB (so no CDJs, only Laptop). Now people can easily look in my music collection.
I see my USB under the "Devices" tab and I can play music from my own playlists (just like in the CDJ 2000).
The problem:
- It's very slow when scrolling, clicking, searching etc.
I think it is not a hardware problem! I use a MacBook Pro with SSD and USB 3.0. Also my USB is a 3.0 stick with 128GB (Read 100 MB/s, Write 15 MB/s).
Is this a Rekordbox problem? Are their any plans to speed up this functionality? Or is their still something wrong with my hardware?
Many thanks,
Jim Craane

It doesn't matter wich PC. It's about playing music in Rekordbox from a Rekordbox USB Stick. So the music files are on the USB and not on the hard drive itself.
