XDJ-RX Hot Cue button sometimes just plays from current playhead location

On occasion, on my XDJ-RX, when I hit the "Hot Cue A" button, the track just continues playing from the current playhead location, and does not play from the Hot Cue A location. It happens intermittently, but I am certain that this is happening, and I am certain that I am not accidentally hitting the Play/Pause button when this happens.

A few more details: In the circumstance in which this happened most recently, the problem occurred on Deck 2. I was working with just one (different) track in each deck for quite a while. I would start Deck 1, play it it for a while, Hit "Hot Cue A" on Deck 2 and let it play for a while on top of Deck 1, and then push Play/Pause on Deck 2 to stop it, while letting Deck 1 continue to play. After a while I would hit "Hot Cue A" on both Deck 1 and Deck 2 at the exact same to take them both back to the start of their tracks. That is when Deck 2 would just resume playing from its current playhead position.

More details: I am using an XDJ-RX with firmware 1.6.0, and Linking via ethernet (and a Thunderbolt adapter) to a new Apple Macintosh laptop running OSX 10.10, which serves from Rekordbox 3.2.2. The default database happens to be on a USB flash drive (so I can easily update the library on different computers). All of my sound files are AIFF files, either copied from CDs or purchased on Beatport. Quantize and Beat Synch were both turned on.

Hello Pulse: Could you please see my reply in my other post entitled "XDJ-RX not loading hot cues when loading the same track on the other deck". (I spent quite a bit of time reproducing, describing, and now videotaping the problem. I hope that it would be useful to Pioneer.) Thanks very much. Best wishes. -AKbeat
