DDJ-SB2 not working with serato DJ

I just got my new ddj-sb2 and have downloaded serato, but when i connect the controller to the computer, it says:

ERROR: failed to connect audio!!

I can actually use The play/pause button and the master volume, but not any of the other functions. Serato says: hardware disconnected.

Can anyone help me?

@Ailo > Do you have the latest firmware on the SB2 and which version of Serato DJ are you using?

Have you tested it with another USB port on the same computer? Or perhaps with another computer?

@Ailo > If it's brand-new, please return your controller to the retailer for an exchange. If you are outside of the exchange period, you will need to contact Pioneer technical support to arrange to have your controller sent in for repairs.

@Scorty > You should buy a license for Serato DJ. The SB2 is supported by Serato DJ, however it does not ship with a license to use it - the SB2 ships with Serato DJ Intro, which is the "light" version of Serato DJ, to get the full version, you have to buy it.

Next time, please start a new topic rather than piggy-backing.
