Wego2 ASIO Driver for Windows 10

Windows 10 seems to come equipped with a Generic USB Driver for the Wego2.  I tried installing the ASIO driver from http://www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software/ddj-wego/ , but it doesn't seem to be taking... and the built-in windows 10 driver package won't detect the ASIO driver if I try to update that driver.

Am I missing something?  I would like to use the ASIO driver instead of the slower Shared-mode windows 10 generic driver...  Can someone assist?
