The CFX can't be applied directly to the sampler, but you could assign the output of the sampler deck to be one of the channels in rekordbox, then have that channel be affected by the CFX.

Problem assigning CFX to sampler bank with MIDI Mapping on DDJ-SR
Hi there,
I am very excited to see that we can now update the midi mappings for our controllers in Rekordbox DJ 4.0.6...
One thing I have been wanting to do for ages is apply the 'Filter' CFX to my sampler bank using a rotary knob. I can see one of the options when I add a new midi assignment in the "FX" tab is called "CFX ParameterSampler", but no matter which knob I assign it to it seems to have no effect. The related options "CFX ParameterMaster", "CFX ParameterCH1" etc. are all fine and work as expected.
Maybe I am missing something, or perhaps this is a bug. Please advise. I am using a Pioneer DDJ-SR (with latest drivers/firmware) on a Windows 10 PC with Rekordbox DJ 4.0.6.

Hi, thanks for the advice. The output assignment buttons for the sampler are greyed-out. How can I activate them?

So, I had to do some digging around and tested about 7 different pieces of hardware here to get some kind of an answer ... which only made things more confusing.
The manual says that the sampler output assignment is for when the software is in external mixer mode.
So I connected a DJM-900SRT, which, by default, had the sampler output in the audio configuration blanked out. The buttons were not clickable, and I was unable to assign it through the sampler. If I selected one of the mixer channels in the audio config, the sampler would be heard on that channel.
I tried a DJM-S9. Same thing; no ability to select the output when it clearly says in the manual "external mixer mode."
I've opened a ticket with the engineers to figure this out.

Okay, so I'm told sampler CFX only currently works with the RZ and the output channel assignment will be available in a future update, which would then allow the CFX to be applied to the sampler.
