Two months without being able to export to USB - critical "shuffle" bug still not recognized or fixed!

First of all I would like to apologize for making a new thread about this Rekordbox problem, but since the original thread

https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/communities/public/questions/204543985-Rekordbox-and-Itunes-playlist-issue

is on page 4 by now and we still have no constructive response from Pioneer I'm feeling forced to push the problem up to page one, where it belongs.

The fact is that ever since iTunes got updated Rekordbox shuffles ALL iTunes smart playlists synced through the sync manager. The original order is not recognized. This also applies to ALL normal playlists over about 40 tracks. This is a critical bug that makes Rekordbox useless for anyone syncing iTunes smart playlists and rely on the sorting order!

Please recognize this problem and at least tell us a fix is on the way. It's been almost two months since I have been able to export to USB and it's getting increasingly frustrating.

All software up to date, Mac OS X Yosemite.

I agree that the other possibility is quite likely to be the culprit, but don't you agree that it's worth investigating? It should be in Pioneer's interest to be able to import iTunes playlists without shuffling them. Rekordbox does have this function, would be great if it worked without adding a bit of randomness into the mix ;)

Anybody tested this with iTunes 12.3 yet? I just saw it was released yesterday.

Please, just make a ticket to the engineers regarding this problem! It doesn't hurt to investigate what I found out months ago, that the information is the same in the XML, the order and / or format has just changed a bit. 4 months and counting.

My advice to anyone being affected by the "shuffle" bug is to migrate to a computer with an old version of iTunes and never connect it to the internet. The process is very smooth with the migration tool in Rekordbox, no need to re-analyze anything and iof your library structure differs batch relocate is your friend.

Still no solution with iTunes 12.3.1 & Rekordbox 4.0.3!
Come on...how is this possible? Problem already exists for months!

To put it mildly, this bug is not very high in Pioneer's to do list. I don't understand why the problem seems to be completely ignored, it is easily reproducible and is obviously an effect of how the playlist XML structure changed with the new iTunes.

This is extremely disappointing. I have had this issue since July and it doesn't seem like Pioneer is making any effort to help correct it. As consumers we pay hundreds, some of us thousands of dollars for Pioneer equipment only for it to be rendered almost unusable. When you have a library of 10,000+ tracks, the most efficient way to find the tracks you're looking for is to organize them into playlists, which no longer sync correctly with the newest version of rekordbox. @Pulse, can you please advise us whether a fix for this issue is currently being addressed?

Anyone else up for reposting this bug? It's been almost half a year without a fix. To get Pioneers attention in the the first place I had to double post with a lot of exclamation marks. Maybe ALL CAPS is needed for them to understand that this is a MAJOR PROBLEM!

I have been frustrated with the iTunes smart playlist sort problem for a long time now and did a little bit of research on the matter and came up with this little solution:

you then just sync the playlist in rekordbox the way we all used to and it should just work, a little note that my playlists all seem to be under 1000 tracks so not sure if this will still work if over that amount but this has me back on track with a simple click of a button "copy to play order"
