Hey guys,
I have a pioneer DDJ SZ and I recently found out that there is a 12DB difference between my right and left channel. The right channel is 12DB's higher than the left. I never noticed until I had a gig at a club who had a front of house guy running sound. He mentioned it to me. Prior to this gig I was just running my own sound through my jbl's. I can deal with 2 or 3 DB difference but 12!?! I called Pioneer and they said that they only cover issues during the first year. I called them THREE days after one year and they wouldn't help me. I even asked what they suggest I do and they had nothing to say. Awesome. So, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have a solution I haven't tried.
I have checked the xlr connections, uninstalled and reinstalled software, checked for panning (there isn't a pan feature anyway but I checked). The controller is brand new and has been in the super nice pioneer case that I purchased with it since I have owned it. Sucks because I have only used pioneer (djm 800, cdj 1000's , 900 nexus, headphones etc.) my entire professional dj career and I've never had problems. Thanks for any help.

Are you referring to your Left and Right output channels?
Yes. The xlr outputs.
Have you tried using different XLR cables? I'm a bit shocked that you never noticed a 12db difference until now.
If swapping cables doesn't work, it's likely a hardware issue and will require repair.
Yes unfortunately I have. That was the first thing I tried.
I have the same problem what should i do
