DJM s-9/ Pioneer PLX 1000 playback problem
So I have a DJM S9 and 2 PLX 1000's it works fine sometimes and other times when I use Serato my left PLX 1000 plays the song in reverse and its really slow and it lags I tried reversing the RCA cable and it plays the song the right way but again it doesn't play properly, I also can not manipulate the Serato Vinyl with it. I also tried switching the turn tables and the other one works perfectly fine on both sides. I have switched needles, USB cables, RCA cables, sometimes restarting the table and mixer works, other times the problem stays the same for days at a time. I would really like this as it makes the Turn table completely unusable. It does play normal Vinyl fine though so I am not sure what the issue is. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Have you checked the wiring on the cartridge - headshell as well?

Hello, yes I haver tried swapping control vinyl and yes the wiring is correct on the headshell and needle.

It's possible you're not using the latest version of Serato DJ or have the firmware updated... have you tried using the calibration to ensure the signal is okay?

Next time it does this check for these additional symptoms... Does it also make a weird buzzing sound or sound like the vinyl is really dirty sounding because that's what mine does on occasion. Does it fix itself if you unplug the USB cable and plug it back in then act as if nothing ever happened. That is the issue mine is having with my Serato and I'm running Serato 1.9.0 and DJM firmware 1.06 And it also does this in internal mode even if the turntables are unplugged from the mixer so at least for me it's USB related, computer related, serato or a problem with the mixer's firmware. This is a replacement mixer as I returned the first one still have similar issues though they are slightly different on this one. Not quite as bad as the first one, both were updated to firmware 1.06 at the time.
