I've been using my XDJ-RX for few months as a standalone unit with USB sticks or export mode. Obviously there are some limitations using this without software so I've been thinking of buying the license.
Rekordbox DJ would allow me to use 8 hot cues instead of the 4 I have on XDJ-RX so I'm thinking of buying DDJ-SP1 (since it has rekordbox support now) to access more hot cues, effects etc.. So my question is, can I plug both XDJ-RX and DDJ-SP1 to rekordbox DJ? Are there any issues using the both?
Also SP1 has 4 modes for pads that are hot cue, roll, slicer and sampler but on rekordbox DJ the pad modes are hot cue, pad FX. slicer and beat jump. How these would work together?
There is currently no functionality for configuring multiple devices like that simultaneously, however we expect a future update will be able to incorporate a variety of units in various configurations for your performance needs.
