You will only get a bar count on your player display when you set cue points (not hot cues) in your songs within rekordbox. The bar counter will then count the number of bars between those cue points.

FollowXDJ RX doesn't show bar count
Hi, I just bought XDJ RX.
But It never shows beat count even there are cue points that I made.
I've already analysed tracks on rekordbox.
I've updated firmware as well.
I tried everything that I could do but beat count is still not working.
Is this general bug??
is there any particular way to fix it ??
thanks.

thanks for reply Mark.
but I did set cue points on rekordbox. then I synchronised to USB memory stick, Put it in to XDJ RX.
But still there isn't any bar count on screen.
Is this matter of USB memory stick?
So I just realised no bar count on my rekordbox as well.
Can somebody tell me how I can get bar count on my rekordbox please?
Which version of rekordbox are you using?
What type of computer?
Which operating system?
I'm using version 4.0.5 on MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2012)
OSX Version 10.9.5
Thanks
Hi
What is the difference betwem cue points and hot cues?
Thnaks
Hot Cues can be launched instantaneously and cue points cannot. You record cue points to memory by first setting the cue point and then pressing one of the memory buttons.
This image shows the MEMORY CUE bank (far right). The cue points are indicated by the red arrows on the top the waveform.
This image shows the HOT CUE bank. Hot cues are indicated by colored letters on the bottom of the waveform.
I have the same problem.
Can you elaborate on how to set the cue points so RekordBox will count bars on the xdj-rx? I can only see the hot cue function.
@Michael > Please review page 85 in the rekordbox user manual for this information.
Hello, an old question but for anyone that still confused about bar count meter functionality:
Bar count shows the difference in bars between cue points
a) Set cue point A, save it to memory
b) Set cue point B, save it to memory
c) Position back to (call) cue A
d) Press play or hold CUE and see yourself a decreasing count of bars between cue point A and cue point B
Enjoy!
