I am trying to figure out a way for multiple users to use 1 main Rekordbox set up. I have my main database on my Main desktop, and use my laptop to spin. My girlfriend also has her own database on her laptop. Is there anyway to use the Main DJ laptop Rekorbox as the main database and add to the main database from my other computers?
So pretty much I want to know if I can merge databases from multiple PCs? Because we do all of our processing on separate machines.
It would be nice if we could export our analyzed tracks to our USB device, plug it into the main laptop and add those files directly to the main database without having to reanalyze the file and lose all the cue points.
@Anoptimis > Ditch the conusion; store your database (and possibly also your music) on an external drive. That way, whenever you go to another computer with that drive, you can choose to load that database and all its music.
This saves on the hassle of synchronizing.
