I have just been informed by Serato that there are no plans for Pioneer to support the software with the new DJM 900nxs2 or the CDJ 2000nxs2...
I run a club in Melbourne that has just installed all the new NXS2 gear and now I have half of my DJs cracking it because of the news. Will Pioneer be supporting Serato and Traktor or not? If it's a no..I'm returning the gear and going back to Allen & Heath.

We are looking into supporting Serato DJ with CDJ-2000 NXS2 and DJM-900 NXS2 in HID mode, however at the moment we can not say when this will happen.
Please be patient until the support is ready.

Absolutely crying that I can't use Serato with the DJM 900 NXS2. I only just paid for the DVS unlock just before I upgraded from 900 NXS. Feels like wasted money now. Rekordbox DJ really did not play friendly with me. I really want this support so I can use my turntables with DVS again.
Same here Guys, I bought the NXS2 and it's sitting in my studio collecting dust. I know that there is always a lag time for updates on new gear, but I'm in the same situation and will return this mixer soon. I just hope that Pioneer keeps an open format, regardless of there Rekordbox aspirations. Open format is needed to keep all DJ's happy. Any great DJ mixer should be able to support practically any play-back scenario at the stage in the game. I've been using Pioneer since the 600 came out two decades ago, and I will continue to be a loyal fan, so long as you give me what I need. Help me out, please!
