Feature Suggestion- Relocation of Files

It would be a major help if it would be possible to relocate files by folder. As it stands, if I have a playlist where there are multiple files missing, I would like the ability to click on a folder and have RB be able to sort that folder and auto relocate vs. me searching for each file individually. Serato has this feature and this the only thing holding me back from fully migrating over once DVS support is available. Thanks for the time and let me know if you have any questions.

@MATT W > It does that. Once you relocate the first file, provided the same "move" has applied to all the other missing files, it will automatically use that "move" to find the others.

If the multiple files have all been moved to different places, it can't automatically relocate them all.

An example would be two files:

X:\Music\Awesome Music 2015\Song 1.mp3
X:\Music\Awesome Music 2015\Song 2.mp3

...moved in the same capacity:

X:\Music\Totally Awesome Music 2015\Song 1.mp3
X:\Music\Totally Awesome Music 2015\Song 2.mp3

...and moved to different places:

X:\Music\Totally Awesome Music 2015\Song 1.mp3
X:\Music\Totally Horrible Music 2015\Song 2.mp3

The latter would not relocate Song 2 simply by using the tool to find Song 1.

It does, in a very limited capacity. Assuming the next file is in the same location as the first, when you go to relocate, it just shows up as shortcut to the last viewed folder. You still need to browse the folder, find the song, click it and repeat this process for each one. This can be extremely time consuming depending how many files need relocating.

My suggestion is that withing a playlist you could choose "relocate all" and have the software go through and find all of the files in one or two clicks. Your competition is already doing this.

@Matt > It does this - just select all your files and it will mass-relocate.

Thanks for the response but I am not sure that you understand my suggestion. If I have 50 songs, that is 50 clicks and if any are in different folders,  then the process repeats. My suggestion is that for each Playlist, you click once to auto relocate all tracks inside.

@Matt > Provided you have relocated all of the tracks in the same scope, it will relocate all of them without needing to individually click them all and relocate them individually - see my official comment posted above.

I don't think it searches folder's recursively, which I believe is the issue here ?

Also, it would be great if when 'Relocating a File', it would open the search in the directory the file was last in, instead of the windows music library, as 9 times out of 10, I've renamed one file.

@pulse Any insight on if there are any planned updates for this suggestion? Per the official comment "If the multiple files have all been moved to different places, it can't automatically relocate them all." That is exactly the feature set I am looking for.
