DDJ RZ and Rekordbox; Are the major kinks resolved?

I've noticed most certified carriers for the RZ and RX (with Rekordbox) unit are back in stock. Does this mean all the kinks and bugs have been resolved? I'm really considering buying this unit.

Thanx

With the software being updated on such a frequent basis, the units firmware as well, I think you're more than safe at making a purchase.

I have a DDJ-RZ, but in my opinion Rekordbox is certainly not stable enough. Problem is I can't use it for a live performance because of this, also because it doesn't support Traktor and I could use it with that. And that's a shame because the DDJ-SZ does that, so it can't be to hard for Pioneer to make a mapping for Traktor.

Don't get me wrong, Rekordbox has great potential, but it's not there yet. So, although software is updated (firmware is still the same I think), I would check the almost identical SZ which supports Serato, Traktor and Rekordbox!

It honestly blows my mind that they released this with the software the way it is. It's OK for djing (definitely not stable for live performance yet) but the software is horrible at analyzing tracks. It even has a hard time figuring out when a track starts. I'm not talking about deep house tracks that fade in or something. A quarter of my house, trap and dubstep tracks are analyzed wrong, and most have a hard intro. So disappointing.

I'm sorry for being mean to the programmers, but I thought that having software that can find the first downbeat of a track is something that has been open source and around for a better part of a decade . Get your acts together so it can be stable enough to throw down live and we don't have to use other software to analyze our tracks. Ok start so far. Looking forward to getting out of this beta test stage.

I also mentioned the analyzing issues before. Indeed lot's of tracks have a starting point before the actual beat, but also the position of the markers is slightly offset. That also seems the reason that you have to adjust the tracks when syncing. Same tracks analysed with Traktor are analysed ok and thus sync ok. Correct analyzing is the most important task of the software in my opinion.
