Rekordbox dj

I deactivated the programme from my pc and existed the programme.

I returned back to the programme finding all the data has been whipped and saying that the data on my hard drive has been used on a different computer.

How can I reimport the data that has gone missing?

Please help

Not sure i understood what the problem is correctly but if you deleted the database I guess you'll have to do start from scratch.

If not, in preferences you can point to where the database is and then look for the missing tracks and relocate them if needed.

Hi thanks for getting back to me.

Rekordbox was up and running with all my playlist collections. I am using DDJSZ but was giving me problems with audio. All my music is on an external hard drive but my database is on my computer. I thought the audio problem was caused by the programme so I thought I should restore the programme but before I did that i thought it was best to deactivate the rekordbox account first. However when I did this my music has disappeared. How can I restore it back? Appreciate any help.

Thank You

I don't think uninstall or even deactivating (is this possible?) will clear your "PIONEER" folder. Again, if it didn't you probably can install rekordbox again, go to file - preferences - advanced - "Database" tab and point to that "PIONEER" folder (where the database is) and go from there (and i'm nearly sure that it'll find your music on the external drive too).

But if PIONEER folder is gone, than you'll have to restart from scratch.

I'm not sure what you mean by " my music has disappeared" but, it might just be the case for you to go to File - "Display all missing files" and then select all and press relocate. In rekordbox 4.1.0 as long it all of the selected files are under the same folder they should be recognised (just read the pop-up boxes asking for you to answer if you want for rekorbox to search for all the songs selected and say "yes")
