I have a FAT32 USB stick plugged into my Mac OSX laptop

I have a FAT32 USB stick that I've plugged into my Mac OSX laptop while rekordbox is running. Unfortunately the device is not showing up on rekordbox so I cannot export my playlist to the device. I've tried restarting and it still doesn't work.

One weird thing that's happening is that the USB stick was just reformated to FAT32 and when I plug it in I see a PIONEER folder with a rekordbox folder inside of that. I didn't put this folder there so I'm guessing rekordbox did as soon as I plugged it in?  So it's seeing the device somehow, but it's not showing up in rekord box.

Please help!

Have you used the drive before with Rekordbox?  Also I would recommend that you reformat the drive to FAT32 2-3 times, it can make a difference.  Please let me know.

Hey Jay,

Thanks for getting back to me. I've tried to reformat the drive about 4 times now. I have two USB drives that I'm trying this on and I've formatted each of them 4+ times. Still no luck :(.

This is my first time Rekordbox so this is the first time I'm trying to use these USB sticks with Rekordbox.

Are there any other details I need to know about formatting these USB sticks? On my Mac, in Disk Utility I always select MS-DOS (FAT) and Master Boot Record as the scheme.

Thank you,

Definitely not exFAT. I selected MS-DOS (FAT). When inserting the USB stick I right click on the volume and select "Get Info". In the new window it says "FAT32".
