DJM stiff faders

My CH3 fader of my DJM 900nexus is a bit stiff compared to the others.

I've took apart the front panel and the CH3 slider and it's fine when not in the slider carriage so it's just the carriage that's giving a bit of friction.
Can I swap the carriage with another channel?

I only had it last October, brand new.

Any recommendations to ease the fader?

usually when mine gets stiff i rub it back and forth for a little bit and the stiffness eventually goes away :)

But in all seriosness, if its new I would send it in under warranty to a local repair place. you can purchase new faders from pioneer parts too, whatever is easier for you

i don't want to say one way or another being i don't know the technical build of the faders.

I will say though that the build internally doesn't look any different between them, just the exterior position of how its mounted and cable insertion

if you look at the parts site there is a blown up schematic breaking down each fader so you can see if the parts internally differ

Each one's assembly is colour coded - not sure if this makes a difference?

I might try using a canned spray air duster.
