importing sub folders into rekordbox

whats up ?

rekorbox only allows 3 folders 1 main folder and 2 subfolders

I use genre as my main folder, artist as subfolder of genre and album as subfolder of

artist, the order is,  GENRE - ARTIST -  ALBUM

Now use genre titles like, Album Male, or Album Female, Hiphop, Pop R&B etc

Artist will be ur subfolder, like Beyonce. all her albums will fall under subfolder to artist

i had to be creative with this, i wish i could get one more subfolder but im working it.

GENRE should not be use for Genre, use it as your Main folder it will show up 1st

ARTIST will be next folder after click of Genre

ALBUM is the last folder which will then show songs

start off with a new page in rekordbox

no songs in it.

now one subfolder at a time drop in rekordbox b4 analyzing tracks or during analyzation

HIGH LIGHT ALL TRACKS AND GIVE IT A NAME UNDER ALBUM 

you want to start of with the last folder cause it will create a mess if you dont.

then follow with Artist names then Genre,

you can just do albums first and do main folder last, 

You can always change the Genre and Artist as many time as you want.

As long as you dont play with the Albums music wont get lost and yu would find urself doin it all over again

its called roxio 10

Roxio 10 or 10 Pro allows me to highlight songs and folders at a time (songs in a folder reccomended) and edit song information GENRE ARTIST and ALBUM all at once, press done ..wait til its ready then dump into rekordbox, still u must check to be sure all has change and everything is the same, rekordbox is sensitive so all letters must be the same ( lower or caps that are different will change location folder, actually starts a new one, this process needs love so slow down get it right, and backup
