DDJ-SZ No Audio In Headphones

 DDJ-SZ

Utility Version: 1.000

Driver Version 1.000

DLL Version 1.000

Firmware Version 1.20

Serato DJ Version 1.9.1

Computer Specs

Intel Core i7-5700HQ CPU @ 2.70 GHz

RAM 16.0 GB

64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Now that's out of the way, here's my issue. I just recently bought my Pioneer DDJ-SZ as my very first Controller, so I'm a bit new. I've plugged everything in, made sure all the software and firmwares are up to date, and started up SeratoDJ. The controllers lights and LEDs are in sync with the SeratoDJs display and it reacts to my touch like every thing is working. However, there's no audio in my headphones at all. I am using the headphones jack to the right (the smaller jack made for MP3 devices) because I don't own DJ headphones. I've tried two different headphones that are functional in other devices, just not my DDJ-SZ. You can actually hear the difference if you leave the headphones plugged in while turning the Controller on (The same noise if you turn the radio up really loud with nothing playing. Like a faint "white noise" sound) so it doesn't seem faulty. Maybe I am missing/overlooking something?

Just a basic question: Have you activated the CUE buttons? See attached picture.

Actually, no. I wasn't sure what those buttons did but I didn't touch them. I do have all the volumes up though. There IS volume coming out of the master 2 port with the RCA connections.

Seriously, you really need to read the manuals to get the most out of your controller and Serato...

You won't hear anything in your headphones unless you activate CUE

I went through the manual twice along with several google searches. I remember activating those buttons, but it was probably when I had one of the volumes down. Anyways, thanks.
