License key re-entered twice

 During the 5 months I've been using Rekordbox along with my DDJ-RZ, I've had to re-enter my license key twice.  It seems to happen after I download a new version of Rekordbox.  Will this affect my ability to use my license key when and if I get a new computer?  Once I enter my key, my settings and preferences pop up in Performance Mode like before.
