No output on XLR Master, headphones and on booth out

(Hi, first of all, I posted the same question at the same time on the Serato forums as this problem involves DDJ SX along with Serato DJ)
I just bought the Pioneer DDJ-SX and tried to make it work with my PC running on Win 7 64 bits. I followed the manual guidelines (installing ASIO ..) but after some hours of searching I wasn't able to get any sound going out of the Master XLR , headphones and even from the booth out. I tested connecting XLR to my power amp and also to powered speakers. Nothing worked. I am able to control the software trhough the controller and I see the LED moving along with the sound on the channel and volume LEDs as well as on the controller master level. Trim and Gains are fine. I also use the latest version of the Pioneer firmware...So it looks like the controller is receiving sounds but is unable to output them... I am able to hear the tracks when played directly on the PC (controller disconnected). I also selected the right source on the controller : PC... Connecting my IPhone with RCA cables to one of the CD input does not change anything : no sound is output... And to conclude : I tried also on my MAC OSX computer with exactly the same problem. I feel like I tried everything and would be happy to hear from other people about their experience. My personal feeling is that the internal DDJ SX soundcard is not working properly... Thanks in advance

@MarioLeo > If you have connected an iPhone or other line device and set the input switch to LINE, the channel and master meters both show activity, it should be outputting via all master outputs; XLR and RCA. Can you check to see if the RCAs are sending signal?

Hi, thanks for your fast feedback. I just tested : I plugged the iPhone to both LINES input (switched to LINE of course) with an RCA . In that situation neither the channel nor the master show activity. I tested the RCA cable with the same iPhone after connected on another device and it works fine : I can hear music. Does this make you feel about what is going on ?

@MarioLeo > I just want to make sure you had the RCA's connected to the matching channel inputs and the input selector was set to LINE on the right channel, AND that you had adjusted the channel gain (plus had the volume up on the iPhone). There are a lot of steps to consider in this troubleshooting configuration as well!

Have you checked that the RCA master-out is working or not?

Hi, I called the reseller explaining the situation. He stated me it was working in the shop. After investigation there , we had the idea of using HIS power plug instead of mine and everything was then OK. So,looks like the power plug was faulty. Altough the controller was working, able to receive signals from the computer. So for the community : if everything works EXCEPT the output, pay attention to the power plug and try using a spare one. Good luck. Thanks for your support. You can close the case. Cheers

Glad to hear that's all working fine - thanks for reporting back and I'll keep that in mind for future SX units.
