RBDJ is it stable enough for live performance

Hello guys, I'm Serato DJ user, and intend to be RBDJ user. Could you tell me is RBDJ stable and reliable enough to be used for live performance now, or I must wait more for next release?

I use Macbook Pro 2009, core 2 duo 2.8 ghz, 8GB ram and SSD. Is it enough powerfull or must upgrade?

Controller: DDJ-SZ

@Aleksandar > Yes, it is stable enough for live performance.  However, since each user's setup is unique, we recommend multiple hours of practice and testing before using it live for 3 reasons.

  1. To get yourself familiar with the layout and features
  2. To be certain you aren't experiencing any issues
  3. To give you a chance to ask us any questions or address any issues you may have

Yes It is stable enough for live performances and I have been using RBDJ 4x week since last November. I too was formally a Serato DJ user and, as you know, the DDJ-SZ allows you to have the best of both RBDJ and serato platforms.

I have used it since beginning of January with no crash issues.

just get used to differences in the functions you do on autopilot as they may be handled differently RB

When RB launched last October, the first month I probably did about 10-20 hours of use a week (mostly in the studio). Lots of crashes and bugs, but since I knew how to reproduce the crash, it never crashed while playing out (avoided doing the things that made it crash).

Since 4.0.5, it's been very stable, haven't been able to make it crash with about 5-10 hours a week of use.

While I have may posts about bugs and feature requests, I do have to say pioneer has been excellent at addressing the bugs and even listening to many of my feature requests.

Also YMMV as everyone has different hardware configs.

DDJ-SX2, using looping samples, effects and rbx 4.07 crashed last week on me.  Second time since using rbx since the beginning of Oct.  I do 4-5hrs a week.  So stable is all relative.  Can't ever remember Serato DJ/Traktor crashing on me but that software isn't 5mths old.  Still gonna use it on Friday.
