hi, after years of loyalty (cdj and djm) I decided to buy a ddj-rx controller,
once known the difference of materials (very plasticky) but the problem arises when you start using it: slow, poor sound quality, noise when using the turntable, jog too sensitive, and after a month of little use one channel does not work!
the light of the potentiometer of the channel 4 and the light of the load (White) does not work,the sound comes out but no lights.
while in the inside jog software appears written 'external out'.
I am very disappointed by pioneer since launching on the market is increasingly leaving out the quality products that once was always at the top..
years back,produces two or three new products a year,now produces an exaggerated number,for the mass leaving the fidelity!
the PIONEER DJ mark is no more than quality as the brand PIONEER (cdj and mixer ok.. but the rest no!!!)

@mark > First and foremost, the country of origin makes no difference; Pioneer DJ maintains a quality control of the product being assembled in the factories. It makes no difference if it's in Japan, Malaysia or China.
You're seeing "External Out" in your display because you've switched the input selector on the channel 4 input. Try toggling it back to PC. This is a user-error and not a failure of the component.
