Here is a video showing the latency with the jog wheel.

FollowPlatter Latency DDJ-RX
Hi guys.
I wanted to try some scratching but the latency of the job wheel moving the track is terrible.
I've got a fast powerful laptop so it's not the laptop. (SSD, 8 GIG mem, i7 Processor-2.1Ghz)
I tried using the various modes (Slip, Vinyl) but it all stays exactly the same. In fact I can't see the difference. Need more time I guess to find out but the Latency issue is a real bummer.
Please help.
Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham,
Scratching can only be done in Vinyl mode. Activating Slip Mode would not effect the scratching capabilities. Any latency issues can be resolved by adjusting your buffer size to a lower number.
I watched your video, but it contains no audio.
Hi Mark
Thanks for getting back to me about this.
I also tried changing the buffer to a low number, I also used a button which was recommended settings but it still happens.
The video doesn't have audio. You can see that the Indicator on the wheel doesn't match where my finger is, it's way off. And so is the audio when I move back and forth.
I will try again with the buffer but I'm not hopeful. When I change form Vinyl to slip mode I see no difference in performance.
Thanks for replying

I'll let you know if the buffer size helps. I can't test it for a few days as I'm working but I will let you know either way if it helps.
Thanks again
Graham
The indicator on the wheel is not supposed to match the location of your finger. That indicator acts as a virtual playhead.
