DDJ SZ using dvs with Rekordbox ?

I've been using my DDJ SZ with serato in dsv mode and found it responds much better and less strain on the pc. I've switched to Rekordbox and have dsv avavlibe and it says in the set up that DDJ SZ is compatible. How do I set this up as my of is struggling a little in normal mode even after optimising my pc. Can't get signal to come through? Any help appreciated if it is actually possible?

I will assume you mean DVS mode, as I'm not familiar with what DSV mode is.  In order to enable DVS in rekordbox, you must purchase the DVS Plus Pack.   DVS mode can be used when adding CD players or Turntables to your compatible setup.  DVS mode is not something that can be used with the controller alone, you need to be using an additional device which will be playing the control signal from a vinyl record, CD or mp3 file.

Hi mark yes I understand that it's for external devies but in serato I'm able to use it in DVS mode and that's without any turntable or CDJ... It says in Rekordbox set up that you can use turntable CDJ xdj or DDJ... Maybe I've miss read it? But thanks anyway.

I don't think you've misread it, but rather misunderstood it. You actually lose functionality when using the software in DVS mode vs. standard control mode. There is no gain in performance.
